Thanks for watching. Your Unique Heat personal heating system comes equipped with an easy to replace UV component. Now you only need to replace the UV component when the light bulb stops working. Now, depending on the amount of use of your personal heating system, your UV component will need to be replaced every 1 to 3 years. 

Here's how to replace your UV component.

• Unscrew the knob located at the bottom of the filter to release the filter cover.
• And then pull straight out. 
• Unplug the component from the circle shaped receptacle and remove the old component.
• Open the new component and replace it in the exact same way the old component came out.
• You'll notice a set of clips on both sides of the compartment.
• The UV component does not have to be securely clipped on both sides to function properly. It will remain snugly in place by just simply being inserted.
• To check to see if it's working, please see the blue glow in the back of the unit.
